Website and inquiry privacy notice

This notice explains how Zolena Lab handles information submitted through zolenalab.ca. Last updated: September 11, 2026.

Information we collect

For a PEMS pilot inquiry, we collect the contact name, work email, company, optional site or city, unit type, CEMS availability, historian coverage, tag-list readiness, notes, and the time the required acknowledgements were accepted.

The PEMS form does not accept historian exports, process data, emissions records, or other plant files. Do not place confidential plant data, passwords, payment information, or regulated records in the notes field.

Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical information such as request time, IP address, browser details, and security-check results. Google Analytics and the LinkedIn Insight Tag may collect website usage, device, referral, and campaign information through cookies or similar technologies.

Why we use it

We use inquiry details to assess fit, respond to the requester, prepare a scope or quotation, prevent abuse, maintain service security, and keep an auditable record of the request.

Website analytics are used to understand site performance and which pages or campaigns lead to inquiries. LinkedIn measurement may also be used for advertising attribution and to build eligible website audiences for future campaigns. Zolena Lab does not send inquiry-form contents as Google Analytics or LinkedIn Insight Tag event parameters.

Service providers and transfers

Zolena Lab uses Cloudflare for website hosting, security checks, and secure database services, Google Analytics for website measurement, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager for advertising measurement and eligible website-audience creation. These providers may process information in jurisdictions outside your province or country, where it may be subject to local law.

We do not sell inquiry information. We disclose it only to personnel and service providers who need it for the purposes above, or when disclosure is required by law.

Retention and safeguards

A new PEMS inquiry is scheduled for review 12 months after submission. We delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed for the stated purposes, unless a customer relationship, dispute, security need, or legal requirement justifies longer retention.

We use access controls, transport encryption, anti-abuse verification, and restricted administrative access appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and contact

You may ask about the information Zolena Lab holds about you, request a correction, withdraw consent where applicable, or request deletion subject to legal and operational limits.

You can limit cookies through your browser settings and manage LinkedIn advertising preferences in your LinkedIn account. Blocking analytics or advertising technologies may reduce measurement accuracy but does not prevent you from contacting Zolena Lab.

Contact the privacy lead at [email protected]. Include enough detail to identify the inquiry, but do not email sensitive plant data.
